Cheong Talay has a nice mix of local Phuket life and the relaxed beach lifestyle that people come here for. Around the residence, you’ll find local food shops, small restaurants, cafés, convenience stores and residential streets.

One of the nicest things about staying here is having Bang Tao Beach nearby. The beach is long, so there are different areas to explore. You can go for a walk along the sand in the morning, have a swim, or come down in the late afternoon when the sun is less strong and stay for sunset. There are also plenty of places along the beach where you can stop for a simple Thai meal or a cold drink.

The Laguna side of Bang Tao has plenty of greenery and lagoons, and it’s a nice area to explore when you want a change from the beach. Layan Beach, further north, is surrounded by trees and has a more natural feel, making it a nice spot for a slower beach day. Surin Beach, to the south, is another beautiful option, with clear water, soft sand and a more compact beach setting.

For everyday life, you don’t have to go far. There are local Thai restaurants, cafés, fresh markets and small shops around Cheong Talay. Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket offer more choices when you want restaurants, supermarkets, cafés and shops. In the evening, the nearby night markets are a good place to try Thai street food, fresh fruit and local snacks.

The area is a convenient choice if you want to stay close to several beaches while also having plenty of local food, shops and everyday services nearby.

Cheong Talay is a great area to explore by car or scooter, especially if you want to make the most of Phuket’s west coast. Grab and Bolt are also convenient for shorter trips to the beach, restaurants, cafés and shops.

The villa is well placed between the local side of Cheong Talay and the Bang Tao and Laguna area. You can easily head out for breakfast, spend the afternoon at the beach, stop for a coffee at Boat Avenue, or pick up dinner from one of the nearby markets. Having your own transport also makes it easy to explore some of the quieter beaches further along the coast.

With a car or scooter, you can easily spend the day moving between beaches, local restaurants and markets, without having to plan everything in advance. For shorter journeys, Grab and Bolt are easy alternatives.

• A damage deposit of 15,000 THB is requested at the checkin and must be settled by cash.

• Check-in is usually anytime between 3:00 PM to 8PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. We’re often flexible with timing, but it’s not guaranteed , just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

• Additional charges may apply for any loss or damage during your stay.

• For Thailand Tourism compliance and your safety, we will request you to send Passport photos for all guests prior to your arrival.

• Extra cleaning and bedding changes are available at an additional price of 2500 THB per time. Please request the service here via messages, 1-2 days prior.
