Exposed stone walls and substantial timber beams give this inviting interior a strong sense of place, blending traditional Dalmatian character with contemporary comfort. The generous dining table forms a natural gathering point for long, sociable meals, while the adjoining lounge offers a relaxed space to unwind beneath the rustic ceiling structure. A striking open staircase adds a modern architectural note without detracting from the building’s original feel. Outside, the swimming pool brings another dimension to leisurely holiday days, whether for a refreshing dip or time spent relaxing between excursions. Stankovci lies amid the rural landscapes of northern Dalmatia, within reach of the Adriatic coast and historic towns such as Šibenik and Zadar. Nature lovers can explore nearby Lake Vrana and its bird-rich surroundings, while the region’s villages, local produce and traditional Dalmatian cuisine offer plenty of opportunities to experience life beyond the busier coastal resorts.
