Guests consistently tell us it's the best-stocked kitchen they've had in a rental. Dining table seats the group, with deck seating for dessert with a view.

WHAT MAKES THIS RENTAL UNIQUE (Space)

A spacious mountain cabin with real room to spread out: a full game room, home theater, and fireplaces on both levels for a group of 9. It sits at 11,000 feet with genuine dark-sky views and 14er scenery right outside the window, close to skiing in winter and to hiking, mountain biking, and gold medal fishing the rest of the year. The kitchen goes well past the basics, new appliances, full cookware and bakeware, a real coffee setup, and it's consistently the thing guests call out as the best-stocked kitchen they've had in a rental.

ACCESS

Full private keyless entry to the home (two owner closets excluded). Parking available for multiple vehicles. Driveway is sloped, typical for mountain homes, and regularly maintained. Heated mats near the front entry help with footing in winter.

NEIGHBORHOOD

We love Fairplay because it puts world class recreation in every direction: Breckenridge skiing without the I-70 traffic or crowds, gold medal fly fishing on the South Platte, and 14er hikes and mountain biking trails minutes from the driveway. It's still a small town with genuinely friendly people, and even though the cabin sits in a neighborhood, the wooded lot makes it feel tucked away and private.

No pets.
Winter access: 4WD/AWD with good tires recommended November through April.
Not childproofed: open stairs, electrical outlets in every room, gas fireplaces, and electric baseboard heaters present hazards. No cribs, highchairs, or pack-n-plays provided. Not recommended for children age 2 and under.
No amplified music outdoors (county ordinance).
Wildlife (bears, moose, elk, deer) is common. Guests must keep trash and food secured, use the bear-proof bin, and not approach or feed animals.
Exterior security cameras: front porch and side of house facing the driveway, and one on the back patio facing the firepit. No interior cameras in guest spaces. Cameras can record video and audio.
Required: smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguisher on-site.
