The Space:

The Maris is a warm and comfortable 1-bedroom suite designed for easy North Vancouver stays. The home has a relaxed, cozy feel with a bedroom featuring a queen bed, a full kitchen, dining nook, and a comfortable living area for winding down after a day out.



The kitchen includes the essentials for simple meals at home, with a dining area that works well for coffee, breakfast, or a quiet night in. The living room has a leather sofa, warm wood furniture, and a simple, homey feel.



There is also an outdoor sitting area. This space is shared with the owner, but guests are welcome to enjoy it.

Guest Access:

Guests have a private entrance accessed by a short set of exterior stairs. The entire suite is yours to enjoy during your stay. A seating area in the front yard is shared with the owners, and guests are welcome to use it.



The Neighborhood:

The Maris is tucked into a peaceful residential pocket of Lower Lonsdale, surrounded by the character and charm of Ottawa Gardens’ heritage homes. Although the neighbourhood feels quiet and removed from the bustle, The Shipyards, Lonsdale Quay, restaurants, cafés, breweries, shops, and the waterfront are all within a comfortable walk.



Getting Around:

Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus are approximately a 15-minute walk away, providing an easy connection to Downtown Vancouver. The walk toward the waterfront is downhill, with an uphill return. A taxi or rideshare is a very short trip, and local transit is also available nearby.



Other Things to Note:

The suite was not designed with young children in mind and may not be suitable for families with small children. It is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood within an owner-occupied home, so we ask guests to be considerate of the surrounding community and keep noise to a minimum, particularly during the evening.

The private entrance allows for an independent stay, but support is never far away when needed.
