Animal Fact! 🐾
Our house was mostly abandoned for a long time, which made it a perfect home for the many kitties living downtown. If you notice them walking around or jumping on the roof, even during late hours, don't be alarmed—they simply love our house as much as we do! They're part of what makes this place special.
A gentle note: If you have severe cat allergies or prefer a completely pet-free environment, please keep this in mind when booking. We want your stay to be comfortable and wonderful!
We wish you a pleasant stay in Casa Rosalba and in Asunción.

Getting Around:
Getting around: Asunción has no metro, so ride-hailing apps (Uber, Bolt and inDriver all operate here) and taxis are the easiest way to move around the city, and both are widely available. City buses run along the main avenues nearby.
On foot: this is one of the most walkable parts of Asunción. Plaza de la Democracia is about a 7-minute walk, the National Pantheon of the Heroes about 8, and the Casa de la Independencia Museum about 9, so the historic centre is best explored on foot.
By car: the newer commercial districts and the airport are a straightforward drive from the old town.
