Nestled on a peaceful 1.25-acre wooded hillside lot, The Hillside Hideaway offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Located less than 15 minutes from the airport and under 10 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores, it’s an ideal home base for exploring Alaska.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to hiking, biking, and skiing, with the Hilltop Trail system and ski area just a mile away. The popular Glen Alps trailhead is only 2 miles down the road, while seasonal salmon fishing at Bird Creek is an easy 15-minute drive. For world-class skiing, Alyeska Resort and the charming town of Girdwood are just 45 minutes away.

This attached 1500-square-foot apartment sits beneath our split-level home and features its own private entrance through a shared garage. Recently remodeled in 2026, it boasts a fully equipped kitchen and brand-new furnishings to comfortably accommodate your group and all your gear. The apartment sleeps up to 6 guests with a sleeper couch in addition to the bedrooms. Relax on the private porch overlooking the lush backyard, complete with cozy seating, a smokeless firepit, and a propane grill.

We provide free parking for two vehicles, with additional camping parking available upon request.
