The Space:

Santa Croce Nest is a characterful apartment located on Via dell’Anguillara, in the historic heart of Florence. Exposed wooden beams, wooden floors, arched openings and warm colours give the home a welcoming, traditional atmosphere.



The apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests. It has two double bedrooms and two additional single sofa beds. Please note that the second double bedroom is an internal room and does not have a window. One sofa bed is located in the main living room, while the other is set in a more secluded nook connected to the living area, providing a little more privacy. Although several sleeping arrangements are available, the apartment’s maximum occupancy is 5 guests.



The living area is divided into several connected spaces, creating separate corners for relaxing, dining and sleeping.



The apartment has one bathroom, equipped with a shower, hot water, towels, shampoo and shower gel.



The compact but well-equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, cookware, dishes, cutlery and wine glasses. A dining table is available in the adjoining living area.



Santa Croce Nest is located on the first floor of a historic building and is reached by stairs, as there is no lift. Room-darkening shades are available, while a carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher are provided for guests’ safety.



The Neighborhood:

Santa Croce Nest is located on Via dell’Anguillara, a historic street running between Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza San Firenze, in one of the most atmospheric and convenient areas of central Florence.

Piazza Santa Croce and its celebrated basilica are just a short walk away. In the opposite direction, the Bargello Museum, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio can all be reached within minutes. The Uffizi Gallery is approximately 500 metres from the apartment, while Florence Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery are around 600 metres away. Ponte Vecchio and the banks of the Arno are also within comfortable walking distance.

The neighbourhood combines Florence’s monumental heritage with an authentic and lively local atmosphere. Its historic streets are filled with traditional restaurants, wine bars, cafés, artisan shops and small boutiques, while the Sant’Ambrogio area and its local market can also be reached on foot.

Thanks to this central location, guests can experience the city at their own pace, return home easily during the day and enjoy Florence in the quieter morning and evening hours, when many day visitors have left the historic centre.



Getting Around:

The apartment’s central location makes walking the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore Florence. Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo are all within easy walking distance, as are numerous restaurants, cafés and shops.



Florence’s historic centre is subject to restricted traffic regulations. Guests arriving by car should check the current ZTL access rules and arrange parking before entering the centre.



Other Things to Note:

The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic Florentine building without a lift and is reached by stairs.



Pets are not allowed, smoking is not permitted inside the apartment, and we kindly ask you to respect the peaceful residential character of the area.

Recycling and waste disposal instructions will be provided upon arrival.
