Sited on a quiet tree-lined street, this quaint cottage is right in the heart of the Golden Rectangle. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown and Carmel Beach, but just far enough to enjoy the solitude of the quiet neighborhood. When you want to venture out to the Monterey Peninsula, explore wine country in Carmel Valley, or day trip north to Santa Cruz or south to Big Sur, traveling will be easy from this perfect location.
Living Space
Reconstructed in 2007, this home offers all the modern amenities one hopes to find in a coastal vacation home. The living room has a gas fireplace and a wifi-enabled Smart TV - guests should bring the logins to their own streaming subscriptions for programming.
The layout of the home is mostly on one-level but inside, there are two steps down to the laundry room and two steps down to primary suite, and steps down from the house to the garden/patio level.
Kitchen and Dining
The home has an attractive, fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful finishes, and granite countertops and backsplash that guests will love. The dishwasher and refrigerator are paneled to match the custom cabinetry, while the gas stove/oven and wine fridge are stainless steel. The dining table has seating for six.
Outside
A private courtyard with outdoor fireplace and plenty of space to entertain is the piece de resistance. Fully fenced yard.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 is the exquisite primary suite with a king bed, TV and gas fireplace.
The en-suite bathroom has a standing shower and separate bathtub.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a queen bed.
The full hall bathroom has a shower-over-tub combination.
A compact-size washer and dryer are located inside the home for guest use.
Parking for one vehicle is available in the detached garage; street parking is limited but there is space for one vehicle parallel parked along the street, just outside the garage in front of the house.
One well-behaved dog is welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
