Summary:
Come & rejoice together in this place of natural beauty in a spacious 16th-century historical 6-bedroom house with an outside bedroom & Gym. This Fantastic Fun house is conveniently situated between Bristol & Bath, with the perfect mix of rural and city life. There is a long beautiful garden, private outdoor plunge pool (non-heated), outdoor & indoor kitchens, with multiple sitting areas to bring everyone together to make wonderful memories!
The house is professionally managed by Hostr, a local property management company.
The Space:
The house has far-reaching spectacular views stretching across the southwest fields, where you can see horses, deer and other wildlife. There are footpaths leading to lots of riverside pubs, like the Chequers Inn, Lock Keeper and Beeses, for roast dinners and pub gardens with fantastic views.
Weddings can be hosted in the pretty orchard, at the bottom of the garden, with ‘Bickley Barns’.
Fun Fact = The house was once a Brewery!!
The driveway fits for 2 cars and there’s a parking bay on the street, which can fit up to 4 cars.
We provide high quality, 400 thread-count linens & thick fluffy bath sheets, with plenty of household items, to ensure an easy & convenient stay.
The house has 3 floors.
- The ground floor has 2 living rooms, with the main living room attached to the dining area and a sitting area attached to the kitchen, with a breakfast bar, a toilet and kitchen.
- The 1st floor has a Master bedroom with an ensuite shower, a full bathroom with him & her sinks and a TV over the bath! There are 2 double bedrooms on this floor.
- The 2nd floor / top floor has a double bedroom, a shower room with toilet & a king size bedroom.
- Double bedroom at the bottom of the garden next to the swimming pool with views of the orchard.

The kitchen provides saucepans, frying pans, baking dishes, and utensils along with cooking oil, washing up liquid, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets. There is a washing machine & dishwasher. iron and ironing board.

You will be able to access the entire house.
The Neighborhood:
The house is 10 minutes’ walk or 1 minute drive to Chequers Inn, riverside pub.
Getting Around:
There is a train station in Keynsham which can take you into both Bristol and Bath and beyond, and many local buses taking you to Bristol or Bath. Park and rides are on offer in Brislington, Lansdown and Bath.
Visit Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, Bristol Cathedral & the SSE Great Britain in Bristol as well as the beautiful Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, & Thermae Spa.
Other Things to Note:
We allow dogs for an additional fee of £50 per night. We don't allow dogs upstairs or on the sofas.
There is a £500 deposit, which is payable before your stay.
No smoking or vaping allowed in the property or in front of the house or car park (allowed in garden or street only) £200 penalty fine
Please note, half the BBQ in the outside kitchen does not work, so have another traditional coal BBQ.
