Escape to Pond in the Pines, a cozy two-bedroom cabin tucked away on an 11-acre working farm in Blue Ridge's Aska Adventure Area. With plenty of tree cover, open pasture views and mountain scenery, the cabin offers a secluded setting for slowing down or heading out for a day of North Georgia adventure. Enjoy the catch-and-release pond and dock, relax on the porch or settle in around the fire after a day exploring.
Inside, warm natural wood ceilings, original-style wood floors, and whitewashed interiors give the home a relaxed mountain feel. At the center of the open living space is a massive stone gas fireplace, creating a striking focal point between the kitchen and living room. Settle onto the leather sofa or chaise, turn on the Smart TV, and enjoy an easy evening by the fire. The kitchen has everything you need for a weekend away or a longer stay, including a gas range and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and drip coffee makers, and a small wine cooler. Three counter stools and a bistro table for two provide casual dining space for up to four guests.
The Sleeping Spaces

The main-level bedroom features a queen bed, Smart TV, desk and chair, and direct access to a private screened portion of the rear porch. High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi through Blue Ridge EMC makes the workspace convenient for guests who need to check in with work while they're away.
A full bathroom on the main level includes a tub/shower combination as well as the home's washer and dryer.
Upstairs Bedroom
Upstairs you'll find a second private bedroom with a queen bed, Smart TV, mountain and property views, and its own ensuite half bath.
The cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests.
Step Outside
The pond, pasture views and outdoor spaces are part of the charm at Pond in the Pines.
Start the morning with coffee in one of the rockers on the covered front porch, or step onto the rear deck overlooking the surrounding pasture and countryside. Part of the rear porch is screened, while the adjoining deck offers additional seating beneath string lights and a partially covered trellis.
Follow the yard toward the pond and you'll find inviting spots to unwind outdoors. Guests can enjoy:
A catch-and-release pond with dock access
Two outdoor fire-pit areas
Bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pits
A hammock near the cabin overlooking the pasture and pond
Views of open pasture and wooded surroundings
Gas grill with propane provided
Peaceful mountain and countryside views
Bring your own fishing gear and spend an afternoon casting from the pond before ending the day around the fire. For guest safety, the pond is not intended for swimming.
Adventure Riders & Outdoor Explorers Welcome
If your idea of a Blue Ridge getaway involves more trail time than downtown time, you're in the right place.
Pond in the Pines sits beside Noontootla Road / Forest Service Road 58 in the Noontootla area and along the Chattahoochee Georgia BDR-X corridor, making the cabin especially convenient for adventure and dual-sport riders exploring North Georgia.
Mountain bikers, hikers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts will also find countless opportunities nearby. Spend the day exploring forest roads and mountain trails or venture out toward destinations including the Appalachian Trail, Long Creek Falls, Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, and the surrounding Chattahoochee National Forest. Then come back to the cabin, put dinner on the grill, and relax beside the pond.
Explore Aska & Blue Ridge
While the setting feels tucked away, Pond in the Pines puts you close to some of the best outdoor recreation in the Blue Ridge area.
When you're ready for a meal out, local favorites in this part of North Georgia include The Mill, Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, and Cartecay River Pizza. Downtown Blue Ridge and the wider Aska Adventure Area are also within easy reach for shopping, dining, breweries, seasonal events, and more.
Pet-Friendly
Dogs are welcome at Pond in the Pines, with up to two dogs per stay. The covered front porch is gated, giving you another comfortable place to spend time outside with your pups.
Getting Here
The cabin is reached by a level gravel road and driveway, and 4WD is not normally required. Because there are several forks in the road as you approach the property, guests will receive detailed turn-by-turn arrival directions.
