THE CHALET
Chalet Calmis provides a modern chalet experience with plenty of space and comfortable areas for spending time together. The open design allows the living room and kitchen area to flow naturally together, creating a large communal environment where guests can cook, eat, relax, and socialize.
The spacious living room is designed around comfort and togetherness. Its high ceiling and multiple seating areas make it an inviting place for family and friends to gather after a day in the mountains.
For guests who want a quieter moment or a little privacy, the chalet provides several separate areas where you can settle in. The dining table offers a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal, while another seating area is positioned in front of the chimney. The chimney is not in use, but the area still provides an additional comfortable place to relax.
There is also a dedicated TV area for quieter evenings, allowing guests to separate themselves from the main social space when they want to watch something or simply unwind.
One of the most striking features of the living room is the spectacular view. From here, guests can admire the Matterhorn as well as views toward the center of Zermatt. The combination of the elevated position, mountain scenery, and large shared living environment gives the chalet a distinctive alpine atmosphere.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, providing an especially convenient arrangement for families and groups traveling together.
The chalet has three double rooms available depending on the booking configuration. Guests should note that the standard rate is based on the use of two double rooms for 2–4 people.
If guests would like to use all three double rooms, an additional CHF 100 per night applies. Similarly, bookings for 5–6 guests are priced accordingly, with the system automatically displaying the appropriate rate.
Rooms that are not required according to the booking will remain closed.
The private-bathroom arrangement means that each bedroom has its own bathroom, providing guests with additional privacy and convenience throughout the stay.
BOOKING CONFIGURATION
The accommodation has a specific pricing structure based on the number of guests and bedrooms required.
The standard daily rate applies to 1–4 guests using 1–2 rooms.
If 4 guests would like to use all three double rooms, an additional CHF 100 per night is charged.
For bookings of 5 or 6 guests, the booking system automatically displays the correct price.
Any bedrooms that are not required for the number of guests booked will remain closed.
LOCATION IN ZERMATT
Chalet Calmis is located in an elevated and peaceful part of Zermatt while remaining conveniently close to the village center and major transportation points.
The railway station is approximately 700 meters away, around an 8-minute walk. The chalet is therefore conveniently positioned for guests arriving by train and for those who want easy access to the rest of the valley.
The bus station at Brücke zum Steg is approximately 200 meters away, around a 3-minute walk.
For everyday shopping, the Migros supermarket is approximately 450 meters from the chalet, around a 5-minute walk. This makes it easy to pick up groceries and everyday essentials without needing transportation.
The valley stations used for skiing and hiking are reachable in approximately 7–10 minutes, making the chalet particularly convenient for guests planning an active mountain holiday.
The combination of nearby transportation, shopping, and access to the mountain facilities means guests can enjoy the peaceful setting of the chalet without being far removed from the practical conveniences of Zermatt.

GUEST ACCESS
Access to the chalet is designed to be straightforward. There is easy access from the street through a tunnel, after which guests can take the elevator up to the chalet.

The property also includes a ski room equipped with a boot heater. This is a particularly useful facility during the winter season, allowing guests to store their ski equipment and dry their boots after a day on the slopes.
PROPERTY SETTING
There is a small apartment in the basement of the building where a couple lives throughout the year.
