Some Smoky Mountain trips need more than one cabin. Bear Ridge Cabins brings Dreaming Bear Cabin and Bear Paw Cabin together as a two-cabin buyout on the quiet, wooded side of Gatlinburg, giving big families and multi-generational groups space to gather, room to spread out, and plenty to do once everyone is back from the mountains.

Dreaming Bear Cabin is the larger gathering point of the pair, with an open kitchen, living, and dining area that keeps the whole group connected from breakfast through late-night card games. The dining table seats ten, the living room gives everyone an easy place to land, and the washer and dryer help with the muddy-boots and wet-swimsuit rhythm of a Smoky Mountain stay. Five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, a half bath, and two queen sleeper sofas keep the sleeping setup flexible, while the game room adds a pool table and cards table for evenings that run long. Outside, the deck brings the views into focus with a hot tub, mountain ridgelines, and golf course scenery below.

Bear Paw Cabin brings the classic Smoky Mountain feel, with warm wood walls, vaulted ceilings, and a main floor built for slow mornings and shared meals. The full kitchen includes both a drip coffee maker and Keurig, while the dining table seats eight so the group can gather without splitting up. Five bedrooms spread across two levels, including king rooms, bunk sleeping, and private bathroom setups that work well for families or mixed groups. The deck adds outdoor dining, a fireplace, and a hot tub for quiet nights under the stars, while the downstairs game room gives everyone another place to hang out with a billiards table, multicade arcade cabinet, TV lounge, and board games.

The setting gives Bear Ridge Cabins its real Smoky Mountain advantage. You’re on the calm, wooded side of Gatlinburg near Bent Creek, just minutes from the Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for river trails, swimming holes, spring wildflowers, and quieter mountain scenery. The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community loop is close by for local makers, while downtown Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, SkyLift Park, Ober Mountain, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood are all easy to work into the trip. Spend the day hiking, exploring, shopping, or chasing coasters, then come back to hot tubs, game rooms, and a quieter mountain road home.
