Welcome to a beautifully restored Piedmontese farmhouse with a saltwater pool, panoramic views, and long summer evenings under the pergola. The house stands alone on a hilltop near the village of San Martino Alfieri, between the wine towns of Asti and Alba. Here, you’ll wake up to views of the vineyards, enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace, and end the day with a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the hills. The original cascina was built around 1850 and we've carefully restored it with respect for its history. We've preserved original features such as brick walls, vaulted ceilings and the traditional fireplace alongside modern amenities: air conditioning in all bedrooms, a new kitchen, modern bathrooms, Apple TV, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a coffee maker. The 300 m² house offers plenty of space for large families and groups of friends. The outdoor areas are the real highlight. The 6,000 m² property sits in an open location overlooking the rolling countryside of the Piedmont region. The garden features large lawns, plants, herbs, and well-tended nut and fruit trees. Here you’ll find a large pergola with a dining area, several terraces and seating areas, a saltwater pool, sun loungers, an outdoor shower, and on-site parking. Many guests tell us that their best moments take place here—under the pergola at sunset, gathered around the long table with family and friends. San Martino Alfieri has its own vantage point with a fantastic view of Monviso (3,841 m) and the Alps. Castello Alfieri in the village has been producing wine since the 1600s and is well worth a visit. Piedmont's the birthplace of slow cooking, where the quality of the food's exceptional—whether at a local osteria or a Michelin-starred restaurant.
