The house was completely renovated in 2025–26 and is fully insulated for year-round living, featuring triple-pane windows, radiant floor heating, and a heat pump.

There’s plenty of space around the dining table, various seating options, pillows, and blankets, as well as good lighting for reading, cooking, and board games.



The patio has room to sit at the table or in comfortable chairs, and you can choose between sun and shade. Butterflies and dragonflies flit about in the garden. Three bicycles are available for free, and the Tibirke Hegn forest area is within walking distance. The beach at Stængehus is a 4-kilometer bike ride along a forest trail.



The town and harbor of Hundested offer shops, restaurants, crab fishing, and a sand sculpture festival. Lynæs Harbor features surfing, a beach, and restaurants. The area has farm stands like Lerbjerggård with organic vegetables, the Tothaven visitor farm with plenty of animals, and numerous thrift stores and antique shops. Liseleje and Tisvilde are easily accessible by car.
