This detached holiday home is ideally positioned between the artists’ town of Kirkcudbright (5 miles) and the charming Fleet Valley town of Gatehouse of Fleet (4.5 miles), giving you two wonderful local destinations to explore, each offering galleries, pubs and independent shops. Stargazers will be captivated by the nearby Kirkcudbright Dark Space Planetarium (5 miles) and the vast expanse of Galloway Forest Park (8 miles), the UK’s first designated Dark Sky Discovery area. The forest is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with scenic walking trails, tranquil lochs, abundant wildlife and excellent mountain biking routes. Enjoy watersports or peaceful fishing afternoons on Loch Ken (18 miles), or venture to the Red Deer Range (25 miles) for the chance to spot majestic roe deer in breathtaking surroundings.
