Float, fish, swim or canoe, listen to dribbling ponds, kick back on the outdoor living spaces, or experience the nearby lake culture of shopping, restaurants & small town friendliness. With all that's onsite you won't want to leave; ideal for multi-generational families.

Enjoy 2 levels of the cabin that have been completely updated which include a main-level fully-equipped chef's kitchen (includes lots of small appliances & spices) and a 2nd kitchenette downstairs (great for families)! Sleep comfortably in 3 bedrooms & a 4th 3-season sunroom with a sofa pull-out memory foam mattress!

The cabin is spacious and its' best features might be the multiple outdoor lounging spaces on the sprawling decks, including a 2-pool pond garden (not for swimming), and multiple flower gardens. You will certainly catch some wildlife and especially numerous species of birds!

The cabin provides year-round escapes for holidays, celebrations, family reunions, or a romantic getaway for couples or friends and serenely captures all four of the seasons!

In the spring & summer you can enjoy a day of tubing on the river, canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding, fishing (water gear included), or accessing nearby lakes to spend a day on the beach (we offer a pontoon available to rent), or to launch your personal watercraft. We provide: 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, several river tubes, 1 paddle board, 2 basic fishing poles, a pickleball court, ping pong, volleyball, frisbee golf (that illuminates at night), a basketball hoop, a game table, yard games, board games/puzzles, beach toys, karaoke & more!

If you're a fisherman, there are at least a dozen great fishing lakes within 10 miles! You can play golf and mini-golf minutes away, enjoy biking/hiking trails, and of course find great food and shopping! Come home from a day of fun and enjoy a campfire with smores, or challenge family or friends to a round of yard games.

The colors of Fall are absolutely gorgeous here, especially viewed out the spacious windows and sitting on the vast decks overlooking the ponds!

Winter provides a wintery view where the river only ices over a few days and offers the most cozy, snowy escape whether watching the snow slowly fall, or enjoying swans floating gracefully by; it's gorgeous! If you prefer to get out into the snowy playground, there are nearby cross country ski and snowmobile trails, ice fishing, or you can travel an hour away to hit the slopes, then return to snuggle in by the fire, bury yourself in a book, or pull out the board games. Each season comes alive with nature and wildlife adding to the experience!

If you'd like more sleeping space we have a rollaway available in addition to the two sectional couches, and in the summer, we have a simple glamping bunkhouse 30 steps from the main cabin that can sleep 4 (no bathroom; great for kids). Let us know if you'd like to add this to your rental for an additional amount.

If you have littles, we supply a pack-n-play and a clamp on high chair as well as baby dishes and a variety of sand toys, children's toys, and books.

You can also inquire to rent the beautiful, 10-person, 20' pontoon that we will deliver/pickup at nearby lakes for your family to enjoy a day on the water!

Regarding accessibility, there is plenty of parking space. Once parked, you will need to walk approximately 30 steps to the front door on a stone sidewalk followed by two steps up to the front door. Once inside, you can access a full bathroom with a zero entry shower, 2 bedrooms (one is the sunroom), a covered patio with couch and chairs, and a 3 sided deck including a patio table, grill and various seating options. If you'd like to access the downstairs you can drive around back to the zero-step-up patio entrance. This lower level provides access to 2 bedrooms, an open kitchenette and living room, easy laundry access, and a step in tub/shower.

You will have full access to the 3 acres of property including the 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 paddle board, several tubes to float down the river in addition to the pickleball court, volleyball court, ping pong table, 5 frisbee golf course baskets (that illuminate at night!), basketball hoop, 2 basic fishing poles, yard games, sand toys, karaoke, board games/puzzles, & more!

It is so important to us that we provide you with a 5-star stay! If anything does not meet these standards, please let us know so we can fix it and accommodate you! We want you to have the BEST experience here!!! If you don't feel relaxed and as if you've been on a retreat, then we haven't done our job!!

Otter Tail County is home to over 1,000 lakes and includes the towns of Battle Lake, Ottertail City, Perham, and Fergus Falls. This is a laid-back, super safe vacation community that is here to enjoy the river and lakes or the small town charm that offers cute shops, great food, breweries, state parks & more!

Parking is plentiful here; you can easily fit at least 5 vehicles, bring your boat, or use the extra space when needed for accessibility reasons. The garage is part of the owner's space and is not available for guest use.

We gladly provide you with a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, hand soap and dish soap! If you think you might need more, please plan on supplementing these items.
