Start with the view, because that is what you are really booking. Both balconies face the Atlantic, and from this height you see the whole sweep of Forest Beach: the dunes, the boardwalk, and the surf line. Oceanfront is everywhere on Hilton Head. A view like this is not.

The position is the other half. You look down on the pool instead of sitting on top of it. The Tiki Hut is right next door: the only live music venue on the sand in Hilton Head, and voted one of the three best beach bars in America. On many summer evenings the music drifts straight up to your balcony.

The design:. Everything is new: plumbing, ductwork, doors, lighting, and an opened-up layout so you can see the ocean from the kitchen. The look is organic modern, inspired by 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami. Taj Mahal stone counters, a solid oak slat wall with built-in lighting, live-edge shelves, brass fixtures, curtains recessed into the ceiling, and furniture chosen piece by piece. What the photos cannot show: a commercial-grade dehumidifier is built into the system, so the air stays crisp and the linens stay dry, even in August, and you never have to think about it.

Main balcony: The big one, off the living room, with seating for six facing straight out over the lawn, dunes, and ocean. Coffee at sunrise, music from next door after dark. It is the best seat on the island.

Living room: A deep queen sleeper sofa and lounge chairs face a 65 inch TV on the oak slat wall. Open the floor-to-ceiling sliders and the ocean becomes the fourth wall, breeze included.

Kitchen and dining: Rebuilt from scratch and professionally stocked. Taj Mahal counters, stainless appliances, dishwasher, pantry, and a beverage fridge for the drinks. Everything you need to cook for eight is already here: pots and pans, baking sheets, a blender, toaster, kettle, wine glasses, and the rest. Six at the table, more at the counter. Full-size washer and dryer.

Primary suite: Wake up to the Atlantic from the king bed, then step straight out onto your own oceanfront balcony. 60 inch TV, a vanity that doubles as a desk, and blackout drapes recessed into the ceiling for the morning you finally sleep in. The en suite has a walk-in shower, a custom stone vanity, and a backlit mirror.

Guest room: Two queens, so the second couple gets a real room, not a pull-out. TV, dresser, and a closet that fits real luggage. Second full bath with tub and shower.

1,267 square feet, two full baths. Sleeps 8: king in the primary, two queens in the guest room, and the queen sleeper in the living room.

Ocean One: The building was refreshed in 2024 and 2025 with a new oceanfront pool and fire pits. Ocean One's private boardwalk runs from the pool deck through the dunes to the sand, and the community gas grills sit right by it. We keep the grilling tools in the unit, so steak night is a five-minute setup.

Beach gear included. Beach towels, wagon, chairs, and other beach gear are complimentary for your stay. Load up and follow the boardwalk to the beach.

On your last morning, take your coffee out to the balcony for one more sunrise. That is when you start planning the next trip. Pick your dates and book the view.

AROUND YOU
Coligny Plaza is about a quarter mile up Forest Beach Drive: restaurants, coffee, ice cream, beach shops, a Piggly Wiggly with a fresh fish counter, and live music on weekends in season. Coligny Beach Park is a few hundred yards up the sand, with a splash fountain, swings, and chair and umbrella rentals. Lowcountry Celebration Park and its pirate ship playground are around the corner on Pope Avenue. Park once: the car stays in Ocean One's gated lot, bike shops deliver to the building, and from spring through Labor Day the free Breeze trolley stops at Coligny Plaza and Lowcountry Celebration Park about every 30 minutes, 1 PM to 10 PM. Sea Pines and Harbour Town are a few miles south; the Sea Pines gate requires a day pass by car or bike.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
The Tiki Hut is one of the best-known beach bars in the country and it is right next door. In season there is live music on many evenings until about 10 PM, and you will hear it from the balcony. Most guests love it as the soundtrack to sunset. If you need complete quiet in the early evening, this may not be the right fit.

Starter supplies are provided: toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dish detergent, and garbage bags. Longer stays will need to restock. Bath towels, beach towels, and linens are provided. The coffee maker is drip style and needs no filters.

Parking: community rules allow a maximum of 2 vehicles. Passes are issued at the gate and must be displayed on your dashboard at all times. If you need a third car, message us before arrival and we will arrange offsite parking.

Maximum 8 guests, registered guests only. No pets (approved service animals excepted, per Ocean One). No smoking or vaping anywhere, including balconies. No parties or events. Quiet hours 10 PM to 9 AM. Pool open year-round, 9 AM to sunset. Ocean One community rules are posted in the unit and apply to all guests; any fines caused by guest actions are charged to the reservation.
