Less than a mile from the house, the resort’s long, sandy beach draws locals and visitors alike for swimming, beach games, surfing, or strolls along the prom with an ice cream. The tidal swimming pool and the beautiful South West Coast Path are both reachable in under a mile, as is a family-friendly crazy golf course. The historic Royal North Devon Golf Club, meanwhile, is half a mile away. Take children to The BIG Sheep (3 miles) or The Milky Way Adventure Park (11 miles) or explore the picturesque fishing villages of Appledore (2.5 miles) or Clovelly (11 miles).


The semi-detached, brick house is set over two storeys and is beautifully co-ordinated, with neutral shades and soft colours creating a tranquil atmosphere for your holiday base. The open-plan lounge/diner, which has sliding doors to the back garden, is a bright and welcoming space, with comfortable seating gathered around a TV. The dining table has plenty of room for six guests to enjoy hearty meals together, lingering afterwards to pull out one of the board games provided. The separate kitchen is another cheerful space, with well-planned cabinets and modern appliances, including a microwave, coffee machine, air fryer and a dishwasher. Heading upstairs, you will find three tranquil bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed that can convert to two singles for maximum flexibility. The rear bedrooms benefit from a glimpse of the sea from the windows. All three bedrooms share a refreshing family bathroom on the first floor and there is an additional WC downstairs.


The enclosed back garden, set three steps down, boasts a spacious patio with a charcoal BBQ as well as a slightly raised deck with a dining set – perfect for an evening meal alfresco. There are some lounge seats, too, at the far end of the garden, making this a delightful space in which to spend a few sunny hours. For straightforward arrivals and departures, you will also have off-road parking for two cars at the front of the house.
