Welcome to our home in Petaluma’s beautiful Victoria neighborhood, where Spanish-style architecture, gardens, nature and wine country come together in a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

This is our personal home, not a dedicated vacation rental, and we think that is part of what makes it special. The house has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated as a real home, with original art (much of which is painted by the owner), books, personal touches and belongings throughout. When you stay here, you are truly staying in a home, rather than a staged rental.

The Home

The house is spacious, warm and inviting, with plenty of room for up to 6 guests to relax together while still offering comfortable spaces for privacy.

The main living areas are designed for gathering, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful setting. There is a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals, comfortable indoor living spaces, and a dedicated workspace with high speed Wi-Fi.

Sleeping Arrangements

The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms:

* Primary suite: Large bedroom with motorized adjustable king-size bed and oversized attached bathroom
* Second bedroom: Queen-size bed and pack n play available
* Third bedroom: A twin-to-king bed that converts for your preference
* Fourth bedroom: Office with a fold-away mattress

Outdoor Spaces

One of the best parts of the property is its connection to nature. Our home adjoins a nature preserve, with access through the back patio gate. Across the street is Helen Putnam Park, giving you easy access to hiking, biking and the beautiful surrounding views.

Enjoy the English garden, relax in the private hot tub overlooking the nature preserve, or gather around the fire pit in the evening. The outdoor spaces are ideal for a morning coffee, an afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed evening under the stars.

The neighborhood also puts outdoor activities close at hand, including hiking, biking, kayaking, playground, tennis, and pickleball.

Location

Although the setting feels peaceful and private, you're only about 5 minutes from downtown Petaluma, with its excellent restaurants, shops, cafés and local wine country charm.

The home also makes a wonderful base for exploring Northern California. Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, Sonoma, Napa and San Francisco are all approximately 30 minutes away, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of Petaluma and the many attractions of the surrounding wine country.

A Note About Staying in Our Personal Home

Because this is our actual home, our personal belongings will remain in the house during your stay. Closets, cabinets and drawers may contain personal items, books, artwork and other things you would expect to find in someone's home. A couple of areas (not pictured) will be locked off for owner's belongings.

We provide guests with plenty of space to settle in and enjoy the house, but we want to be transparent that this is a loved and lived-in personal home, not an exclusively furnished vacation property.
