A log home in the pines, a creek running below and Flathead Lake just down the road. Harbor Hideaway A puts the deck, the fire pit and the whole creekside property at your feet, with the town of Lakeside only a couple of minutes away.

Spend the day on the water, then come home to plenty of room for up to eight. The queen bedroom has its own door out to the deck, the bunk room has a twin over twin bunk and its own TV, and two queen sleeper sofas in the great room sleep four more. Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers keep the morning line moving. Whether it's a couple of families, your fishing crew or old friends on a long overdue reunion, pour a drink, put on some music and gather around the big dining table while dinner comes together in the open kitchen.

When the sun drops behind the trees, light the fire pit, wander across the covered footbridge over the creek and trade stories from the day as the stars come out. Then sink into the leather sofas by the electric fireplace and start planning tomorrow. Morning coffee from the rockers on the porch is how every day here should start. Winter
The Flathead Valley is a true winter paradise, known for world-class skiing, snow-covered peaks, and endless outdoor adventure. Carve fresh tracks at Whitefish Mountain Resort, recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine, or head to Blacktail Mountain Ski Area -- a local, family-friendly gem with panoramic views of Flathead Lake. Beyond skiing, the valley offers something for everyone: snowmobiling with local outfitters, ice fishing on Flathead Lake, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Glacier National Park's stunning backcountry. Whether you're chasing adrenaline or quiet mountain beauty, winter here delivers it all.

Summer
When the snow melts, the Flathead Valley transforms into a playground of lakes, trails, and endless sunshine. Spend your days on Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, where you can enjoy boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming in crystal-clear waters. Just a short drive away, Glacier National Park beckons with the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and over 70 incredible day hikes. Closer to home, soak in the charm of downtown Bigfork -- a vibrant hub for local shops, art galleries, award-winning restaurants, and the iconic Bigfork Summer Playhouse. Outdoor lovers can hike the Swan River Nature Trail, explore the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, cast a line in countless lakes and rivers, or play a round at Eagle Bend Golf Course.

Air Conditioning:
This home does not have air conditioning, which is typical for Montana mountain properties. Evenings cool down beautifully at elevation, and opening windows at night is the best way to bring that fresh mountain air in. During the day, keeping windows and curtains closed helps hold the cool air inside. Fans are available in the bedroom closets for additional comfort. For safety, please only open windows while you are present on the property.

Parking:
Gravel parking is right outside the door. AWD is recommended during the winter months.
