Welcome to Oak Ridge Cabin! Tucked away on six private wooded acres at the base of Lydia Mountain, this cozy 560 sq. ft. cabin is the perfect Blue Ridge getaway for hiking, wineries, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature.

We’re just ~10 minutes from Shenandoah National Park’s Swift Run Gap entrance and ~15 minutes from the South River Falls trailhead, putting miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and Skyline Drive right nearby. Spend the day exploring the park or visiting one of the area’s many wineries and breweries, then come home to stargaze from your private hot tub or unwind beside the fire.

THE CABIN

Step inside to a warm mix of modern comfort and classic cabin character, with natural pine walls and ceilings throughout the main living space.

The newly renovated kitchen features butcher-block countertops, brass fixtures, forest-green cabinetry, and new appliances. The coffee bar includes a Chemex for pour-over coffee, a regular coffee maker, and an electric kettle for tea.

The dining area comfortably seats four and is perfect for a home-cooked meal, morning coffee, or an evening board game.

After a day of exploring, settle into the custom sofa with a movie and the propane fireplace during the cooler months. You’ll also find books, board games, and a record player for a relaxed night in. The sofa converts into a pull-out bed with a foam mattress for additional guests.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, pine accent wall, luggage rack, closet, and room-darkening shades.

The bathroom includes a full-size tub/shower, vanity, hair dryer, and bathroom essentials. The cabin also has a washer and dryer, heating, and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

THE OUTDOOR SPACE

The expansive private deck is one of the best parts of Oak Ridge Cabin. Start your morning with coffee outside, grill dinner, or soak in the four-person hot tub after a day on the trails.

Relax around the gas fire pit on the deck, or head just off the deck to the wood-burning fire pit for a real campfire and s’mores under the stars.
