This cabin includes full access to the Private Beach, Pool & Tennis during summer months! Walk to the Lake (just a short 7 - 10 minutes from the cabin) or catch the paved bike trail just a few blocks from the cabin and walk / ride for miles. It`s a perfect cabin for families or a group of friends looking to enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer.

This lovely cabin seamlessly blends classic Tahoe charm with modern appointments. The downstairs consists of a combined living room / dining area and kitchen along with a full bathroom. The living room is nicely furnished and includes a large flat screen SmartTV along with a classic wood burning fireplace / stove. There are also two spacious decks (front and back) to enjoy during warmer months that are nicely appointed with outdoor dining tables, gas grill and an outdoor fire pit. Upstairs, you’ll find 3 Bedrooms and 1 Full Bathroom along with a 4th Bonus Room that can either be used as a private office area or as an additional sleeping area (Full Pad provided).

All bedrooms are located upstairs and the bed configuration can sleep up to 8 guests as follows:

- Bedroom 1: King
- Bedroom 2: Queen
- Bedroom 3: Two sets of twin bunk beds
- Bonus Room 4: This room can either be used as a private office area or a place to sleep on the full size fold out sleeping pad.

Fantastic Chamberlands location! This cabin is an outdoor lovers` dream centrally located in the heart of Chamberlands!

- This cabin includes access to Chambers Landing private beach, pool and tennis courts (all located just a short 7 - 10 minute walk from the cabin). Note that pool & tennis courts are only available during prime summer months as determined by Chamberlands HOA (typically from late June through Labor Day Weekend).
- Catch the paved bike trail just a few blocks down and walk or ride for miles along West Shore, into Tahoe City or along the Truckee River out to Alpine Meadows / Palisades.
- Nearby resorts including Palisades / Alpine Meadows Ski Resort (20 - 30 minute drive), Homewood Mountain Resort (3 - 5 minute drive), and Northstar at Tahoe (40 - 50 minute drive).
- Sugar Pine State Park is about 6 - 8 minutes from the cabin.
- Nearby Paige Meadows offers hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the winter months and the Tahoe City Nordic Center is about 20 - 25 minutes from the cabin.
- Close proximity to Dockside 360 Market in Homewood and Tahoma Market, Dog & Bear, Cult Burger and Where We Met Coffee Shop (all about a 3 - 5 minutes drive from the cabin).

Chamberlands is a true gem to be discovered in Lake Tahoe. Located between Homewood and Tahoma on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, this neighborhood offers wonderful woodsy locations with many properties bordering on streams. There are approximately 300 homes in the Chamberlands subdivision, but only around 100 have access to the pool and tennis courts! All homes have access to a private section of the beach and can use shuttle service for transportation from their homes to the beach. The shuttle departs every half hour on the hour beginning at 11am with the last regular run at 4:30pm. The shuttle operates daily from approximately July 1st – August 20th.

Chambers Landing Restaurant is a local’s favorite and located right next to the private beach area on the water. During the summer, offering an outdoor bar and grill during the day and open for fine dining in the evenings, Chambers Landing Restaurant has it all! The restaurant is open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Pull up and park your boat at the dock to enjoy all that Chambers Landing on the lovely West Shore is known for. A long wooden pier stretches out into the blue water with a small bar serving the famous “Chambers Crush”. A white sandy beach and supervised swimming area is perfect for enjoying a day with family or friends. The restaurant itself features wonderful Tahoe mountain ambiance and outstanding food. It`s a short distance to the Chamberland`s Shuttle to the lake where you can enjoy the private beach, pool and tennis during Summer. Full membership to the Chambers Landing Recreation Association (including Pool & Tennis access) included with this property.

SEASONAL: Deck furniture, fire pit and BBQ grill are not available 10/15-5/15 as they are stored for the winter season due to snow.

There is parking for 1 vehicle in the detached garage and 2 vehicles on the driveway with no spillover for additional cars. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).

No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill or gas fire pit).

Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage. Guests should keep the bin fully latched / locked whenever not loading trash, never leave trash outside, and be responsible for documented repair and additional cleanup costs caused by failing to follow those instructions.

Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked, bear system activated) whenever not present in the home. Important! Please make sure that all bungee cords are properly installed across all exterior doors / windows and turn on the system (light flashing) whenever not present in the home. Failure to properly secure the home can put the home at risk and result in considerable damage if a bear enters the property. Guests may be held financially responsible if bear damage occurs and it is determined that the home was not properly secured when not present at the property.

The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).

The front entry door is somewhat exposed to the elements. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some shoveling needed. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we also recommend traveling with a shovel in case needed while in route.

WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.

ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, there’s always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
