Relax in this peaceful 2-bedroom, 2-bath guest house just 20/25 minutes from downtown Asheville and less than 2 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and Hiking trails. With 1,200 sq ft of comfortable living space, it’s perfect for couples, friends, or a small family. Enjoy quiet country surroundings, room to unwind, and evenings around the outdoor fire pit in the field. Sleeps 4 and offers the perfect balance of mountain tranquility and easy access to Asheville.
This is a guest house and the fully separate main house is beside it.

The space
We have a gorgeous 20 acre property in the Ox Creek Valley of Weaverville, just down the hill from the Blue Ridge Parkway and only a mile from the Mountains to Sea Trail. We and our neighbors make a conscious effort to limit light pollution. Combined with the undeveloped Parkway land behind us, this gives us some of the best stargazing in the area.
Since our outdoor lighting is limited to reduce light pollution, we recommend bringing a flashlight to navigate the path to the front door. There is a porch light, but the path itself is not illuminated.
*****Please note that reaching the home requires navigating multiple steps, including uneven natural stone steps along the outdoor path. There are also stairs inside the home to the second level. The property does not have child safety gates, so please review these details carefully when deciding whether the space will work for everyone in your group.
We also have two geodesic domes available to rent in our 5 acre field, which is separate from the guest house. Each dome accommodates 2 guests. By renting the guest house and both domes, a group of up to 8 people can stay on the property.
Other things to note
There’s a fireplace that is not connected to gas for insurance reasons so is not available for use. You’ll also see an older hot tub on the side of the house that we do not advertise for use and is not connected
