Not only is this property ski in ski out, but the location is right in the heart of the Steamboat Ski Resort's base area! There are plenty of things that can make a ski vacation memorable, but few matter more than being in the right location. This location might steal the spotlight, but step inside and you'll find a property that is equally impressive, with plenty of comfort, style, and amenities to enjoy.

The Location:
In the winter, convenience is everything! From your door, you're less than 200 meters from both gondolas, the Christie Peak Express, the ticket office, shops, restaurants, bars, and all the action of the base area. The ski in ski out access is about as easy as it gets. You ski to and from Ironwood on a beginner level terrain, making it simple for everyone to come and go on their own schedule. Want to get out for that first run without waiting for everyone else? Go for it! Ready for lunch, need a break, or just want to warm up for a bit? Ski home, grab a bite, relax, and head back out whenever you're ready. That kind of flexibility can make a big difference on a mountain vacation. No complicated logistics, no waiting around, just more time enjoying the mountain and everything the base area has to offer.

In the summer, it's all about being immersed in nature and discovering a different kind of mountain adventure. The gondolas continue to run, providing easy access to hiking and biking trails high on the mountain, while the base area remains a hub of activity with free summer concerts, festivals, and events. Adjacent to Ironwood, Burgess Creek winds its way through the landscape. Around the gondola area you'll find a gentler stretch of the creek, with sandy beaches, rock ledges, picnic tables, and grassy spaces where kids can play. Spend the afternoon by the water, wander over to the base for a bite, relax and soak in the vibe of mountain life. There's no need to rush when everything you want is close by. You'll have the perfect balance of being near the action while still having a beautiful private property to call home.

The Property:
Ironwood 16 is a spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhome with very high vaulted ceilings and plentiful natural light. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, an elevated dining space, a comfortable living room with soaring river rock fireplace, & a private deck. After a day of adventure, you can relax in one of the two large outdoor hot tubs that are right outside.

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
- Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have.
- Accessing the property: While there are no steps to enter, once inside, the home consists of 3 main levels and a split level with the main floor being the middle level.
- Parking: The home includes two parking spaces, 1 in the garage and 1 in front of the garage. Trailers, campers, and RV's are not permitted.
- Backup Parking: The development has some shared parking spaces which are available on a first come first served basis. If you expect to have more than 2 vehicles, please contact us to discuss options for any additional vehicles, should the shared parking be full.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day & weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool & fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high & low temperatures & weather forecast for your dates of travel, & look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property & look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, & are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement & associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct & maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size & subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, & may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, & security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances & exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure & safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest & upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value & quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, & you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements & measures are necessary. Security cameras & noise monitoring devices are an example & demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, & in good condition, for your benefit. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed & approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, & mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, & so on.
