Stroll through Volterra’s atmospheric medieval streets, discover the town’s remarkable Etruscan heritage and stop off at local restaurants to enjoy regional dishes and wines. San Gimignano, with its characteristic medieval towers, is a worthwhile destination, whilst the surrounding countryside is ideal for picturesque drives, walks and visits to small villages where rural Tuscan traditions remain part of everyday life to this day.
