Room for 12 on the Sonoma Coast. A big Bodega Harbour home with four bedrooms plus a loft, a game room and a living room that both have fireplaces, and views across the ocean, the bay, and the golf course. Doran Beach is a 15-minute walk away.
The Space:
Big houses are hard to find in Bodega Bay. Once Upon A Tide has room for 12 without everyone feeling on top of each other. At more than 3,500 square feet, there's space for the whole group to be together, and space to get away from each other when you need it.
You notice the light first. The living room's big windows and sliding doors look straight out at the bay, the ocean beyond it, and the green of the golf course in between. On a clear day the whole room fills with it. When the fog rolls in, it's just as good, especially with the fireplace going.
The main deck runs along the ocean side of the house behind a glass wind screen, so you can sit out with a coffee or a glass of wine without the wind taking over. A row of Adirondack chairs faces the view, and that's where most mornings start. A second deck off the game room has an outdoor dining table and a gas grill.
Inside, the living room, dining area, and kitchen share one open floor, so the cook stays part of the conversation. The dining table seats a big group and looks out over the bay. The kitchen has double wall ovens and a breakfast bar with stools, so it can handle cooking for a crowd.
The game room is the other place everyone ends up. It has a full-size pool table, a dart board, a gaming console, a big TV, and a second gas fireplace. Sliding doors lead out to the grill deck, so it works as well for a rainy afternoon as for a late night after dinner.
Once Upon A Tide sleeps 12 across four bedrooms and a loft, with three full bathrooms and a half bath. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a king and one with two queens. Upstairs, the primary suite has a king and its own bathroom, and the fourth bedroom has two queens and an attached bath of its own. The loft has two twin beds and a spiral staircase, and kids tend to claim it first.

The golf course is right below the house, and Doran Beach is about a 15-minute walk. Bodega Head, the harbor's seafood spots, and the rest of the Sonoma Coast beaches are all a few minutes' drive.

DRIVEWAY - The driveway is steep. Take it slowly, especially in wet weather. We recommend parking in the garage.
HEATING & COOLING:
• The house has central heating and two gas fireplaces.
• There is no air conditioning. It's rarely needed on the coast, and opening the windows cools the house quickly.
OCCUPANCY & PARKING:
• A maximum of 12 guests is permitted under the county vacation rental license, not including children under 3.
• A maximum of 4 vehicles is allowed.
QUIET HOURS & OUTDOOR SOUND
• Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Outdoor amplified sound is not permitted at any time.
• Fireworks and outdoor burning are not permitted.
PETS
• Up to 2 dogs are welcome per stay.
• The yard isn't fenced. Dogs must stay on the property, can't be left unattended, and must be leashed under Sonoma County leash law.
DAMAGE PROTECTION
