This two-story home at Veranda Palms Resort covers 3,565 square feet and sleeps 20 across eight bedrooms and seven baths, set up for the trip where grandparents, parents and kids all want to stay under one roof. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, one of them a King suite, so anyone who would rather skip the stairs sleeps a few steps from the living room and the pool. Kids pick their room by theme: Toy Story downstairs, and Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mickey & Minnie and Harry Potter upstairs. Six of the eight bedrooms have their own bathroom, which shortens the wait for a shower before heading to the parks. Living, dining and kitchen share one open space, and the glass doors lead to the covered patio and the screened private pool with spa, facing the lake, where the day winds down once the parks close.

Guests of this home have access to the shared areas of Veranda Palms Resort: the clubhouse with its lounge, the fitness center and the resort pool, which has two water slides and a splash structure for kids, with lounge chairs and shaded tables around it. The community also offers access to the Shingle Creek nature preserve for quiet walks.

You have exclusive use of the entire home: the eight bedrooms, the seven bathrooms, living and dining areas, kitchen, laundry and the screened backyard with the private pool, spa, covered patio and grill. Parking is free on the driveway. The shared areas of Veranda Palms Resort are also open to you: the clubhouse with its lounge, the fitness center and the pool with two water slides. There is an exterior security camera at the front entrance.

Our team is based in Orlando, not managing your stay from another time zone, and is reachable 24/7 by message and phone, with support in several languages. We answer questions about the house, the resort gate, park tickets, dining and transportation, and we sort out the things that do not follow the plan, such as a flight that lands after midnight or a payment that needs another route.

During your stay the whole house belongs to your group. Access instructions are sent before check-in at 4 pm, so you can drive straight to the house with no front desk to stop at. Pool and spa heating or a propane tank for the grill are requested through the booking conversation, with the advance notice given in the description, and check-out is at 10 am.

Veranda Palms Resort is in Kissimmee, on the Disney side of Orlando, with residential streets of two-story homes and access to the Shingle Creek nature preserve. By car, Disney is 13 to 18 minutes away, Walmart 5 to 8, the Vineland outlets 15 to 22, Orlando International Airport (MCO) 17 to 22 and Universal 22 to 30 minutes.

A rental car is the practical way to get around, and with free parking on the driveway, a group of 20 can bring more than one car. The resort connects to the main roads that link Kissimmee to the Disney and Universal park entrances and to the shopping areas, and rideshare services operate in the area for the days when nobody wants to drive.
