Discover Katla, a luxurious Scandinavian-inspired lodge for four in North Yorkshire. Unwind in the covered hot tub, admire sweeping countryside views, and enjoy beautifully designed interiors created for relaxing escapes.. No smoking.. Step inside and discover calming interiors where clean Scandinavian design meets effortless warmth. Soft lighting, cool natural tones and thoughtfully chosen furnishings create an inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The bright, open-plan living space is centred around a spectacular picture window, framing uninterrupted views across the surrounding countryside and flooding the lodge with natural light. Settle into the comfortable sofa with your favourite book, stream a film on the Smart TV or gather around the dining table to enjoy leisurely breakfasts before setting off to explore Yorkshire’s spectacular scenery. The contemporary kitchenette is fully equipped for relaxed self-catering stays, while underfloor heating keeps every corner wonderfully cosy throughout the seasons.

When it’s time to unwind, two beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms offer comfort and flexibility in equal measure. Both feature sumptuous super king-size beds, with one bedroom offering the option to convert the bed into twins, making Hekla ideal for couples, families or friends travelling together. High ceilings and calming décor create peaceful spaces designed for restful nights after days spent exploring. Both bedrooms benefit from their own stylish en-suite bathrooms—one featuring a sleek walk-in shower, while the other boasts a luxurious freestanding bath alongside a separate shower for an added touch of indulgence.

Outside, the experience continues with a private patio designed to embrace the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Sink into the covered jacuzzi-style hot tub and watch the skies change colour as the sun sets over the Yorkshire countryside, whatever the weather. Fire up the charcoal barbecue and gather around the outdoor dining table for long, relaxed evenings beneath the open sky, while clever landscaping between the lodges provides a welcome sense of peace and privacy.

Whether you’re exploring charming market towns, discovering scenic walking trails or simply enjoying the tranquillity from your own terrace, Hekla offers an unforgettable escape where luxury, nature and relaxation come together beautifully.
