This magnificently restored Church in beautiful Charlotteville, NY, offers a unique home away from home in the peaceful Catskills mountains.
If you are a baseball family accompanying your child to the weekly tournament in Cooperstown, we are located about 30-40 minutes from the Baseball HOF, or the Allstar Village or the Field of Dreams. Cooperstown offers a multitude of restaurants, art galleries, sports and water activities.
If you are looking for a peaceful and Zen retreat, or planning a wedding or a reception, or a meeting or a pop-up gallery, Chapman Hall is perfect for all occasions.
For Outdoorsman, the valley offers many hiking trails, fishing spots, farm fresh foods, nearby ski resorts as well as Glimmerglass opera, and other cultural events.
If you want to just rest and go off grid in a spacious and comfortable setting, you found the right place. The magnificently renovated kitchen will also attract the foodies.
It is a great place to re-encounter with friends or family you have not seen in a few years.
A Holiday to be remembered….
With a mixture of old world charm and modern luxury, the original hall, full of antiques and old world charm boasts cathedral ceiling, tall church windows and choir gallery with ample space. The hall has a TV area, card tables and games, a piano, an electric organ, and a myriad of books for every interest. The acoustics are exquisite.
From the hall you move into the beautifully decorated newer section, where there were class rooms are now renovated to a comfortable living room, a dining room with a magnificent table and a fully equipped state of the art kitchen.
There are 3 lovely bedrooms each with their own charm. One King and 2 Queen bedrooms offer ample space for your guests with a Queen size sofa bed in the library for that extra bed when needed.
There is a full, well appointed, high tech bathroom and a separate powder room.
The antiques and fine art give a luxurious feeling to the whole interior. Modern conveniences include WiFi boosters throughout, 2 flat screen TV’s and a good music center.
