A beautifully converted stone barn in the heart of Bakewell, with room for 6 guests and their dogs. Two king bedrooms and a twin, two bathrooms, exposed beams, underfloor heating and a log burner in the open-plan lounge overlooking the bowling green. Parking and EV charging on site, plus free extra parking nearby. Stroll to the shops, pubs and tearooms; Chatsworth and the Monsal Trail are minutes away. Perfect for families, friends and couples alike.
The space
This barn is laid out “upside down” so the living space gets the best of the light and the views.
Ground floor
* Double bedroom with a large en-suite that has both a bath and a walk-in shower
* Separate WC
* Utility room with a Miele washing machine and tumble dryer, a Belfast sink and direct access to the carport (handy for muddy boots after a walk)
First floor: open-plan living
* Kitchen with marble worktops, Miele appliances, a large breakfast island, an American-style fridge freezer and a dishwasher
* Dining area [seats 6]
* Living area with original stonework, a contemporary log burner and views over the bowling green
* Double doors open onto a balcony, with steps leading down to the front
Top floor
* Two double bedrooms under the exposed beams, one with an en-suite shower room
* Separate WC
Underfloor heating and new double glazing throughout keep it warm all year.
Guest access
Guests have the whole barn to themselves, plus the carport (one car) and secure bike storage. [Self check-in via keysafe/smart lock.] If you bring a second car, council permit parking may be available nearby.
