🏡 Forest Lodge

🌊 Private Lakefront + Dock

🎹 Historic 1800s Home + Original Baby Grand Piano

🌲 Classic Up North Setting + Covered Porch

Hosted by Catered Stays Rentals, Forest Lodge is a truly special Northern Michigan retreat where history, character, and lakefront living come together. Originally built in the 1800s and lovingly preserved by the same family since purchasing the home in 1978, this one-of-a-kind lodge is filled with stories, craftsmanship, and unique antiques collected throughout the years.

Inside, you’ll find warm wood interiors, soaring ceilings, original architectural details, a beautiful stone fireplace, and thoughtfully preserved furnishings that give the home its unmistakable character. One of its most treasured pieces is the baby grand piano original to the home, offering a glimpse into Forest Lodge’s long history.

Outside, settle into the covered porch, wander down to the private waterfront, relax on the beach, or spend the day enjoying the dock and peaceful lake views. Whether you’re gathering around the dining table, enjoying a quiet morning by the water, or simply taking in the history around you, Forest Lodge offers an Up North experience that feels both nostalgic and unforgettable.
