Welcome to Special Moments, our South Haven, Michigan vacation cottage. Previously professionally managed, the home earned 5-star guest ratings and Guest Favorite recognition; we’re now hosting it directly.

Guests consistently love how well the cottage works for families and groups. Designed as a modern lake-house cottage, it combines polished, inviting spaces with a layout that makes spending time together easy.

The main level is made for gathering, with an open living area and indoor fireplace, a large dining space, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has grown-ups and little guests covered, with a dedicated coffee bar plus kid-friendly plates, cups and utensils.

Just off the main living area is a bright indoor sunroom with a large cushioned couch, a comfortable spot to relax, read, talk, or enjoy a quieter corner of the house.

The primary bedroom includes its own ensuite bath, while the other bedrooms have their own character and themed touches that make the stay feel a little more special.

One of the home’s best features is the separate lower-level suite, with its own bedroom, full bath, and additional sleeping space. It gives extended family or another part of the group a place of their own without feeling disconnected from everyone else.

Step outside to the pondside patio, enjoy the marina setting, walk to the beach, or head to the year-round indoor/outdoor pool.

The cottage works beautifully in every season, from summer beach days and holiday gatherings to fall-color weekends and spring escapes.

Beds accommodate 13 guests. Maximum occupancy is 16.

The nearest beach access is about a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive; with chairs, coolers, and other beach gear, driving is usually more convenient.

Boat, kayak, and golf cart/LSV rentals are also available.
