This is a blend of comfort and rugged charm focused on the experience.
A few things to keep in mind: our stairs are more like a ladder, so channel your inner mountain goat and embrace the climb (free workout included!). There’s one full bed on the ground level, with additional beds in the loft.
The heating and cooling is reliable, but not perfect –for those who enjoy a mix of seasons in one space. I find it to be perfectly comfortable.
As for the shower, our trusty 7-gallon water heater offers a thrilling race against time. You’ll enjoy about 7 minutes of hot water before it takes a break, with a 5-minute recharge time that’s ideal for reflecting on life or humming a tune.
Remember, this isn’t a five-star hotel – it’s a five-star experience. If you’re ready to embrace a little adventure with plenty of rustic charm, you’re in the right place.

The inside of this building is reserved for you and your guests. There are locked rooms reserved for staff usage. Using the wood burner is limited to the staff coming in and starting up the fire guests are not allowed to start a fire.🔥 if we do start the fire for you, we can then assign it to one of your guests to maintain it. This is also based on staff availability if staff is not available, this will not be available.
Hey, I’m Pops, old school and always greeting guests with a big smile at check-in. We love getting to know our visitors and making sure you feel right at home, while also giving you your own space. This is a lifelong dream for Susan And I, that has come true, and we want to share it with you. Thanks Pops.
Verification:
This place is great for overnight stays, but it also hosts events. If you’re just renting for a stay, some verification may be needed. For events, we need to do a full verification—like the type of event, number of guests, alcohol will not be used in excess, and that it fits the space as intended.
No parties— well birthday parties I guess, ha ha
The queen bed on the first floor is in use, but is set up temporarily
If you want to use the sound system, you’ll need to schedule a in person check in with guests an host prior to use
