This 7-bedroom, 5.5-bath house at Windsor Cay spreads 3,281 square feet over two floors, which is what it takes for eighteen people to spend a week together and still have somewhere to be alone. The garage was converted into a game room painted floor to ceiling in blue, and it carries the hours between park days: ping pong, foosball, a Pac-Man arcade cabinet, a two-hoop basketball arcade and a ride-on car for the smallest guests. Three of the upstairs bedrooms were decorated for the kids, and they sort out who sleeps where the moment the doors open. Out back, the screened pool has a hot tub built into one corner and the covered lanai holds a grill and a table for eight, so dinner stays home on the nights nobody wants to drive again. The kitchen runs on a center island with bar seating, stainless appliances and a Mickey-shaped waffle maker on the counter for the morning before the first park.

Windsor Cay is a gated resort community on St Kitts Circle in Clermont, with a manned gate 24 hours a day. Walt Disney World is 15 to 20 minutes by car, Universal Orlando 28 to 38 minutes and Orlando International Airport (MCO) 35 to 45 minutes. A Walmart is 8 to 12 minutes away for groceries and supplies, and Vineland Premium Outlets are 22 to 28 minutes. The streets are new and quiet, built for families, with the clubhouse and its lake pier a short walk or golf cart ride from the door.
A rental car is the practical way to move around Clermont, and parking is free on the driveway for more than one vehicle. US-27 and State Road 429 are the two roads that connect the house to Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and the outlets, and the drive to the Disney gates runs 15 to 20 minutes outside rush hour. Rideshare works throughout the area, and the resort gate is staffed around the clock for late arrivals.
