PLEASE READ THE FULL LISTING AND PHOTOS BEFORE BOOKING. Rustic Memories Country Stays is an authentic rural cabin-in-the-woods experience on our working wedding and event venue outside Sparta, WI. If you're looking for a hotel or luxury-resort environment, this may not be the right fit. If you enjoy country settings, rustic spaces, privacy, woods, fires, and an authentic Wisconsin property, we would love to host you.

This listing includes the full 1904 estate: the Main House, the Cottage, and the Den, sleeping up to 16 guests total. You'll have access to multiple separate buildings connected by lawn and gravel paths, not one single house under one roof - please review the photo tour so you know exactly what to expect from each space before you book.

THE MAIN HOUSE has a full kitchen, dining area, living room with games, two main-floor bedrooms, and an upstairs loft bedroom (reached by a staircase) with two queen beds plus a futon sofa, and a full bathroom.

THE COTTAGE is an open-concept studio with its own full kitchen, a queen bed in the main living area with a TV, and its own full bathroom with a shower.

THE DEN has its own kitchenette (full-size fridge, sink, microwave, cooktop, and utensils) and sleeping area, plus a half bathroom (toilet and sink only - no shower; guests staying in the Den can use the Cottage or Main House shower).

Outside you'll find a fire pit, lawn games, a playground, and plenty of gravel parking. Because this is a working wedding and event venue, you may see event set-up, vendors, or activity elsewhere on the property depending on your dates - the lodging areas are private and separate from ceremony/reception spaces unless arranged otherwise.

We also offer on-site bar service, catering, DJ, and event add-ons if you're interested - just ask, these are not automatically included with a lodging stay.

Before you arrive we will send you detailed check-in and property information. Our host is available by message, phone, text, or in person throughout your stay - please reach out right away if anything needs attention so we can take care of it during your stay.
