A proposito di questa villa struttura in affitto
Boasting a private saltwater pool, this villa is a spacious private house built for shared time with the people you love. Days drift between the outdoor pool, the garden and a lazy barbecue, while a pool table, table tennis and foosball keep evenings lively. When the air cools, the heating makes it just as inviting in winter. Five bedrooms with king size beds, four ensuite full bathrooms and two wcs are available, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. WiFi is available throughout, and there is parking on site.
The Space:
On the ground floor, the living room is where everyone comes together. Air conditioning keeps it fresh in summer, and in the cooler months radiator heating and an indoor fireplace take over, with firewood provided so you can light it on your first evening. A smart TV is there for film nights, and upstairs a pool table, table tennis and foosball keep friendly rivalries going long after dinner.
The kitchen is fully equipped for proper family meals, with a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine for slow mornings, and everything else you might need during your stay. A generous dining table means ten people can sit down together without anyone squeezing in.
Upstairs, four air conditioned bedrooms each have a king size bed and a private en suite bathroom, so every couple or pair of friends enjoys the same level of comfort and privacy. Two further wcs mean nobody waits their turn during the day. A washing machine means you can pack light and stay longer, and an iron, hair dryer, bed linen and towels are all ready for you.
Outside, the outdoor pool is the centre of summer life, with the garden and patio around it for sunbathing, reading and long lunches in the open air. The gas barbecue makes grilling fresh fish or souvlaki for the whole group an easy evening ritual.
An ideal destination for year-round vacations, perfect for families, friends, and couples.
Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to all areas of the villa including the outdoors and the pool.
The Neighborhood:
The villa sits on the gentle slopes just above Eretria, on the southwest coast of Evia, where olive groves and low hills run down to the calm waters of the South Euboean Gulf. The setting suits families and groups who want quiet surroundings with a lively seaside town close at hand. Eretria, about 3 km away, has supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and a long waterfront lined with cafes and tavernas.
The nearest swim is on the Eretria town beach, a mix of sand and fine pebbles with shallow, sheltered water that suits children. The Isle of Dreams, about 3 km away, is a pine covered islet joined to the town by a footbridge, with shaded paths and quiet spots for a swim. Malakonta, about 4.5 km west, is a long bay of sand and pebbles with tavernas on the shore, while Amarynthos, about 7 km east, offers a sandy beach and a relaxed fishing harbour.
For greener landscapes, the mountain village of Steni, about 20 km north, is the gateway to the fir forests and hiking trails of Mount Dirfys, the highest peak in Evia. Lake Dystos, about 30 km east, is a protected wetland loved by birdwatchers.
History is everywhere here. The Archaeological Museum of Eretria and the Ancient Theatre stand side by side about 2 km away, and the Temple of Apollo Daphnephoros and the House of Mosaics lie within the town, about 2.5 km away. The Sanctuary of Artemis Amarysia near Amarynthos, about 9 km away, reveals the temple of the goddess once honoured with grand processions from Eretria. Chalkida, about 20 km west, is where you can watch the famous changing currents of the Euripus strait.
Local life revolves around fresh fish by the harbour, wines from the vineyards around Malakonta and olive oil from the surrounding groves. Boat trips leave from the seafront in summer, and the ferry to Oropos makes a day on the Attica coast easy.
An ideal destination for nature lovers and those seeking authentic local experiences all year round.
Getting Around:
Athens International Airport is about 55 km away as the crow flies, and the drive takes around an hour and a half, either over the bridge at Chalkida or by the ferry from Oropos. Eretria port, about 2.5 km from the villa, has car ferries to Oropos on the Attica coast that sail throughout the day all year, and the crossing takes about 25 minutes. Regional buses to Chalkida stop in Eretria town, about 3 km away. A car lets you make the most of the region, from quiet beaches along the coast to the mountain villages of Dirfys and the waterfront of Chalkida. When you return, parking for four cars is waiting for you on site.
Other Things to Note:
Come for the pool and the beaches, and stay for the long dinners and late games that make a trip with the people you love feel like its own tradition.
