The whole house is yours: three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a full kitchen, a shaded terrace and a pool nobody else shares. Sleeps six comfortably. Private parking behind an automatic gate.

Restaurants, massage, two gyms and supermarkets are all on our road. Patong 15 min, Surin 10 min, airport under an hour.

Blue Lion Villa is a private three-bedroom house with its own pool, set on a quiet residential road just above Kamala Beach. It's a real house rather than a hotel room — you get the whole place to yourselves, with space to spread out, cook, swim, and come and go entirely on your own schedule.

DOWNSTAIRS opens onto the pool terrace through sliding doors. There's a full kitchen, a living and dining area, and a queen bedroom that steps straight out to the water — the room most guests fight over.

UPSTAIRS are two king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Four bathrooms in total across the house means nobody is queuing in the morning.

OUTSIDE, the pool is entirely private — not shared, not overlooked by other guests. There's a shaded terrace for eating outdoors and a garden. Private parking sits behind an automatic gate, with room for two cars or several scooters.

The villa sleeps six comfortably, two per bedroom. It suits two or three couples travelling together, or a family who want more room than a hotel can offer.

KAMALA BEACH IS ABOUT 1.1 KM AWAY — a 15-minute walk downhill, or five minutes by car or scooter. The same road takes you past 7-Eleven and Lotus's Go Fresh for groceries, several good local restaurants, massage shops and two gyms. Patong is 15 minutes south, Surin and Bang Tao 10 minutes north, and the airport 45-60 minutes away.

WHAT'S PROVIDED: air conditioning throughout, fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, towels and beach towels, linens, hairdryers, toiletries, coffee, tea and drinking water on arrival.

You have the entire villa, the pool, the garden and the private parking. There are no other guests on the property and nobody shares the pool.

Entry is by smart lock with your own personal code, so there's no key to collect and no one you need to meet — arrive whenever suits you, day or night. Parking is behind an automatic gate, with space for two cars or several scooters; I'll give you the gate remote once you've checked in.

I host from a distance for much of the year, but you're never without support.

Check-in is entirely self-service — your own smart lock code, no keys, no meeting anyone — so you can arrive at any hour without coordinating with me.

I'm reachable throughout your stay on Airbnb messages and I answer quickly. I'll check in with you the evening you arrive to make sure everything is working, and once more mid-stay, but otherwise I leave you to your holiday.

For anything that needs someone physically at the villa — a lock issue, aircon, a leak — Salin, our local contact in Phuket, is nearby and can come round the same day. You'll have her number in your arrival instructions.

If anything is missing or not right, please tell me while you're still here. I'd much rather fix it during your stay than hear about it afterwards.

I'd rather you know these before you book than discover them on arrival.

ELECTRICITY IS BILLED SEPARATELY. It isn't included in the nightly rate. The meter is read before check-in and after check-out, and you pay 5 THB per unit for what you actually use. I send you photos of both readings with the calculation, and it's settled through the Airbnb Resolution Centre. For most stays this is a modest amount — running the aircon around the clock in every room is what makes it climb.

THERE IS CONSTRUCTION NEARBY. The developer is still finishing other units in the same project behind the villa, so you may hear daytime work. Evenings and nights are quiet. I mention this on every booking because I'd rather set the expectation honestly than have it come as a surprise.

SECURITY CAMERA. There is one outdoor camera at the entrance gate, facing the street. It covers the gate approach only. There are no cameras inside the villa or in the pool area.

TAP WATER IS NOT DRINKABLE anywhere in Thailand. There's drinking water waiting for you, and large bottles are cheap at the shops on our road.

IMMIGRATION REGISTRATION. Foreign visitors staying in private accommodation need to be registered with Thai immigration. I can handle this for you for 200 THB per person — just send a photo of your passport page and entry stamp.

GETTING AROUND. I don't arrange airport transfers, but Grab and Bolt both work well from the airport (around 800-1,000 THB) and there are taxis and minibuses at arrivals. Several scooter rental shops in Kamala will deliver to the villa.
