Welcome to Korean BIG House, a spacious and comfortable home in Daegu where you can relax with your family and friends while enjoying a small taste of Korean culture.
In Korea, a “Big House” (큰집) traditionally refers to a home where family members gather together for holidays, meals, conversations, and special moments. Inspired by that warm feeling, we created Korean BIG House as a place where travelers can gather, rest, laugh, and make meaningful memories together.
Our home is especially suitable for families, groups of friends, and travelers who prefer more space and privacy than a typical hotel room.
The house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, providing plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably. Instead of staying in several separate hotel rooms, your whole group can enjoy the same home while still having enough personal space to relax.
One of the special features of Korean BIG House is its Korean atmosphere. Throughout the house, you can discover traditional Korean furniture, decorations, and small cultural details that give the space a unique character.
We also provide traditional Korean games such as Yutnori (윷놀이) and Gonggi (공기놀이) so you can enjoy a fun Korean experience with your family or friends. Even if you have never played them before, they are simple, traditional games that are perfect for spending time together.
To welcome our guests, we also prepare small Korean snacks and traditional treats. We hope these little surprises make your stay feel warmer and give you another opportunity to experience everyday Korean culture.
Korean BIG House is located in Daegu, near Myeongdeok Station, making it convenient to explore the city. From here, you can easily reach central Daegu, local restaurants, cafés, shopping areas, and many of the city's popular attractions.
There are also many restaurants and cafés around the neighborhood, and we are happy to share our favorite local places with our guests.
For guests traveling by car, one free parking space is available at the building.
The accommodation is located on the 3rd floor, and guests will need to use the stairs to reach the house. Please keep this in mind when traveling with very heavy luggage, elderly family members, or small children.
We care greatly about cleanliness and comfort. The space is carefully prepared before every stay so that you can feel at home from the moment you arrive.
More than simply providing a place to sleep, we want Korean BIG House to become a small part of your Korean journey.

***Bedroom & Bathroom Arrangement

To provide a comfortable stay while keeping accommodation costs reasonable, bedrooms and bathrooms are prepared according to the number of registered guests.

Room Arrangement

* 1–2 guests: 1 bedroom + 1 bathroom
* 3–4 guests: 2 bedrooms + 1 bathroom
* 5–6 guests: 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms
* 7 or more guests: 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms, with additional floor mattresses and bedding provided according to the reservation.

Each bedroom has one queen-size bed.

Additional Bedroom Requests

If you would like to use additional bedrooms beyond the standard arrangement for your group, please contact the host in advance.

An additional charge of KRW 20,000 per bedroom, per night applies.

This charge helps cover additional bedding, laundry, and cleaning expenses. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Please do not force open locked bedrooms. Any damage caused by forced entry may result in additional charges.

Check-in & Check-out

* Check-in: From 3:00 PM
* Check-out: By 11:00 AM
* Self check-in is available.
* Detailed access instructions and the door code will be provided one day before arrival.

House Rules

* No smoking indoors.
* No pets allowed.
* No parties or events.
* Please avoid grilling meat or fish indoors.
* Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. Please respect our neighbors.
* Only registered guests are permitted. Please inform the host in advance about any visitors.
* Guests under 19 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
* Please take care of the furniture and facilities. Guests may be responsible for damage caused during their stay.

Kitchen & Amenities

* The kitchen includes a single induction cooktop.
* A rice cooker is not provided.
* Cups are available, but drinking glasses are not provided.
* Complimentary instant noodles, Korean snacks, and drinks are available.
* Please note that we do not provide a traditional breakfast service.
* The living room does not have a TV. Instead, we invite guests to enjoy traditional Korean games and our tea area.

Children & Safety

* A baby bathtub, high chair, and children’s tableware are available.
* Parents and guardians must supervise children at all times, especially on the stairs.

Parking & Accessibility

* One parking space is available on the property, subject to availability.
* Nearby paid parking options are available.
* The accommodation is on the third floor, with stairs only and no elevator.
* An exterior security camera monitors the entrance.
