This once Ice house was converted to a family home in the 1950's and and I have tried to capture a bit of the magic in a time capsule. Located on the West Bank of the Mississippi but only 10 min from the French Quarter, Convention center and Superdome. The space
There's something quite cozy about this home. It was originally built by the family who lived next door as an Icehouse so they could sell ice to the neighborhood. In the 50's they re-purposed the place and made it into a home for their granddaughter. It has low ceilings and the stairs have a short run due to its uniqueness but unless you're quite tall it shouldn't be an issue. Since purchasing this property, I have remodeled the interior and painted the spaces so that everything you see now was done by myself. You'll find a queen-sized bed on the top floor and an office which I've opened up to give more space and light. The mattress is top of the line, and I've spared no expense when it comes to your sleeping comfort.
