Chalet Larice is our own mountain home in Sauze d'Oulx, high above the Susa Valley in the Italian Alps. Wooden walls and ceilings, oak floors, warm light and big windows that frame the larch trees outside make it a place you want to come back to at the end of the day.

The apartment sleeps six: two bedrooms (a main bedroom and a children's room with bunk beds) and a sofa bed for two in the living room. There are two bathrooms. The open living and dining area has a deep sofa and a long wooden table where breakfast turns into a long lunch, and the kitchen opens onto the same room so the cook is never left out of the conversation.

The balcony is the best seat in the house. Striped cushions, a view over the mountains and a larch within arm's reach: coffee in the morning sun, an aperitivo as the peaks turn gold.
You have your own parking space (no. 9) and private ski storage (cantina) in the building.

In winter you are in the Via Lattea, one of the largest ski areas in Europe with more than 400 km of slopes. In summer, the same mountains turn into walking and mountain bike country. From the living room you look at Monte Genevris, a favourite climb for mountain bikers. You can walk down to Oulx, follow Il Sentiero di Pollicino, or take a motorcycle up the Assietta road. Coming from France, you reach Sauze about 20 minutes after the Fréjus tunnel.

This is our personal holiday home, so we ask guests to treat it with care. Parties and events are not permitted. Pets only with prior permission.
