Elegant 120 m² apartment on two levels, on the 3rd floor of a renovated building that once housed a famous cinema, in the historic center of Lucca. Private courtyard parking with an electric gate, an elevator and air conditioning throughout make it a rarity in the old town. The entrance to Lucca’s city walls is right in front of the building. Two spacious double bedrooms (a cot is available) and two bathrooms with a large shower, bidet and hair dryer. Living room with TV and dining area, fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine), washing machine, free Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and air conditioning and heating with thermostats in each area. Sleeps up to 4; the two levels are connected by an internal staircase and the elevator reaches the floor. Piazza Napoleone is about a 7-minute walk away, and Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and Torre Guinigi about 12. Palazzo Pretorio, the Church of San Paolino and Porta Vittorio Emanuele are 100-150 m away, and bicycle rental is within walking distance. The train station is about a 12-minute walk, and the nearby bus stop takes you to the station, for trains to Florence and the coast. Good to know: we are right before the ZTL (limited-traffic zone), so you can arrive by car without permits and park in the private courtyard. Self check-in; check-in from 2.:30 PM, check-out by 10:30 AM. No smoking, no pets, no parties or events. Children of all ages are welcome. We are Stefano and Francesca, brother and sister, and we are happy to suggest where to eat and what to see.
