Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff is incredible, pool is dated but so nice that it's open till 11 instead of 9 or 10 like other hotels.

Very expensive property, like gougingly so. Also, having to pay for parking is ridiculous too. Seriously, if I'm spending over 600 dollars to stay at your hotel for 2 nights, parking should be included. No cutlery in the room, so if you bring leftovers from dining out, make sure you get takeout cutlery. The coffee in the rooms is so bad that it's basically undrinkable unless you enjoy gas station or truck stop coffee. It's literally some of the worst hotel coffee I've ever had. The shower has no door. Which means you're ALWAYS going to have a gross wet floor after your shower AND while you are in the shower, it's freezing because a shower door keeps the heat in. This trend of removing bathtubs and shower doors in hotel rooms needs to stop.

The location was great.

There was not any mention about the parking lot which the hotel shares with MNP tower. We did a few rounds round the hotel in search of the parking lot and wasted precious time.

There was no where to park in front of the hotel to check in. Homeless people were in the elevator. Told staff and they didn’t do anything about it.
