A really nice spot if you want to be close to Halifax without staying right in the middle of the city. The lake setting is beautiful and peaceful, the room was spacious, and breakfast was good. Getting downtown was easy too.
The main downsides were a moldy smell in the bathroom and heating that didn’t always work properly. Overall, still a comfortable stay in a great location.

Very clean staff was pleasant.
Having to use stairs for some of the rooms. Elevators only useful to some rooms.

Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were better than expected. Appreciated having laundry facilities on-site and available 24/7.
Perhaps the laundry could use more than two washers and dryers.
The parking area alongside the building was very tight.

Beautiful view, friendly staff.
This is a rundown place that needs face lift. The facility is old and aged. Okay room space and small bathroom. Towels bit old, bad sweaty smells in the closet. AC cannot adjust wind volume and is very loud. Tap water tasted bit mold.
