Close to Lake Louise and I get to do some hiking there. I paid for insanely expensive money for a suit room with views of Lake Louise. However, the bedroom window was dirty. Anyway, I was upset and after a full day, the issue was finally resolved. All I want to say is, thanks to the Manager Anna. She had tried her best to make sure my second night of staying was really taken care of. And all the staff from room service, Louisa restaurant and Basin lounge, they really made me felt at home. This is more than any compensation you could get from a high end hotel like Fairmont Chateau
The dirtiness of bedroom window (I basically paid for the view). 9/29 afternoon on duty front desk manager (around 17:00) made me feel like I was bargaining the compensation fir what I had gone through.

The location was great because Lake Louise is just right in front of the hotel
The cleanliness was not great. The surfaces in the hotel was a little dusty. Although I asked for a lake view room, they assigned me a room on the lowest floor which was blocked by a pine tree and because it’s the lowest floor, I could see the awning at my level which was really unsightly. For close to $2,000 a night, it’s really not worth it. Quite disappointing
