The location is 10/10, only 5 minutes walk to Vancouver city centre station where you can take the Canada line metro directly to/from the airport. There are many good cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby.
Staff services are good in general.
The smell of the room, perharps there needs to be a proper clean of everything to get rid of that wet smell.
The basin inside the room does not work. And there is no basin inside the female toilet on 2nd floor, the shares bathroom on 3rd is much better.

I loved that it was old school. We had a real key to lock and unlock the rooms. No key card. Loved it!!
The room was cold, which was perfect, but there was a celebration party going on outside, so a fan for background noise would have been nice.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Location was great.
Had a miscommunication with staff about parking that could have been avoided. Expecting a refund but it remains to be seen.
The amenities in the room were nice but with the shared bathroom I would have expected shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shared bathroom itself. Glad to see the bathrooms were kept nice and clean. The sauna room was a strange one though, a bathroom with no sink!

The room had an overpowering smell of air freshener which made me feel sick and gave me a headache.
There was a lot of ambient noise.
Don't mind a shared toilet but too few for the number of rooms.
Too much light entering the room made it difficult to sleep.
