A fire alarm went off at 6am for two mornings in a row while we were there

Beautiful historical building . However most of the rooms are in modern towers . We had a sea view which was lovely . Restaurant facing sea and beautiful beach

We ended paying around £800 for a room with no breakfast . When I have paid that sort of money I expect to feel special I think arriving and being told it was some $ 40 ( can’t remember exactly ) to park or valet another $20 Did not leave you feeling great ! Then strangling to find parking and carrying your stuff to reception and to your room . Then in the restaurant to sit on sofas facing the sea a minimum spend of $ 175 . In the room no shower caps or bits . Everything felt like it was out to make money . Just felt that they were exploiting their name rather than giving true guest experience

Closeness to the beach and town.so many great places to eat. And great variety of activities

Check in process was slow, coffee shop service was slow, uncomfortable bed. Extra charges for sunbed on beach and valet / parking charges were very high.
