Hotel Terrasse Dufferin

From check in to check out we had a wonderful experience! We appreciated that an extra fan was provided. The goodies in the room were very appreciated!

Ideal setting, just steps from the Hotel Frontenac. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit small. Very clean and well outfitted.

I was in a garden-level (i.e., basement) room that was across from another room. The first night, I could hear the guests in the other room until very late. To their credit, the managers talked to the couple, and it was quiet the other two nights I was there. I'm surprised the hotel does not have a "quiet hours" policy as many other places do. Parking is limited, but if you do get a space, it is very convenient and well worth the extra charge.

Clean room, friendly staff, complimentary snacks in the fridge replenished every day! My go-to lodging option in Québec should I return!

Location! We were able to walk to all key locations. The views were amazing. The kitchenette was spacious and convenient. The funicular make going from the waterfront to the hotel much easier than walking up the steps. Shower/tub had great hot water. In/out parking (outdoor) available for a nightly charge. Food in Quebec was delicious.

Hotel needs repairs as shown in the photos. One night was extremely windy and cold wind penetrated the windows into the room. There was mold in the bottom tray under the freezer in the refrigerator. The bedroom was very small. There was an air conditioning unit in front of the window which blocked the chair to the desk. The space between the foot of the bed and wall is tight. It was clearly stated that there is not an elevator. I would recommend a room on the lower floors. For the elderly walking up many stairs can be taxing. Towels were dingy and thin. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and the bottom sheet moved and had to be straightened out during the night.
