I didn’t care for the decor

OK, This was a big deal visit from myself and spouse, celebrating our 50th year married! We visited Tofino some 40 years ago so this place we important to our marriage and our deep connection to the NW. Tofino is different! Paved, way more hotels and fancy resorts. none of that existed to our knowledge in the 80s. But the Inn at TC is totally downtown. Its walking distance to everything that is real and local Tofino, not resort Tofino. You taking a boat ride to see critters or hikes? Its walking distance from this Inn. The View? This is Inside side Pacific NW. You want to Ocean, waves? That's somewhere else. Nice, but not the quiet inner waters vib.

The room we booked was unavailable. We were given the room immediately next door. Same floor, bay view, spacious balcony and cool cut glass leaded windows. We did not get an explanation, were offered the coolest room in the place for one night (but then moving back, aught). But that said, we loved the room, (hated the 2 beds!) , the balcony, the food upstairs, access to EVERYTHING. We felt a part of town, not a room key on the third floor with 20 rooms.

Great location. We were greated by Ethan. Excellent customer service. Very helpful with "what to do in Tofino".

Beds were not very comfortable. Very expencive for product received. Bit of a musty smell on the 2nd floor of the building.
