High ceiling, no bugs. There is an elevator to access the upper floors. Plenty of parking spaces.
Water pipe very noisy. During our stay，somebody upstairs was taking a shower 3am. We woke up from the noise.
The thermostat seemed not working. We adjusted it to 23C but it stayed at 21C for a long, long period and eventually the room temperature dropped to 20C.

The private room with private bathroom was great. Being in a hostel it doesn't have anything else like coffee, microwave or fridge that you come to expectin a motel.. The 2nd floor has excellent facilities to share with other hostel guests for those needs.
It was good value for Whistler and I would recommend it if your budget can't meet Whistler prices.
The bed was on the hard side,
TV remote was not working at all well.
Maintenance turned it on, no volume control and had to unplug from the wall to turn off.
Soap dispenser in shower was empty and I had to buy a cake of soap as staff said it wasn't included in the room description. I found that hard to believe as the soap dispenser near the hand basin was working.

First time staying at a hostel. We were very pleasantly pleased with friendliness, diversity of staff & renters, spaciousness & comfort of room, enjoyed lounge & kitchen facilities, Cheekies coffee cafe was a bonus and location was outstanding with family-style neighbors gardens recreation right out the door.

They don’t provide the basics things like iron hair dryer even tissue papers
