Convenient location and staff was friendly.

When we arrived and checked in, the doors to both my room and my buddy’s room were propped open, so it seemed like they had just been cleaned. Unfortunately, both rooms had a noticeable musty smell. Since we were only staying overnight before catching a flight, we didn’t feel it was worth asking to switch rooms, but it was a little bothersome. Other than that, we had a great stay and everything else was enjoyable.

Proximity to airport

When I booked the room a few months ago the amenities included a swimming pool. When we checked in on the 4th of July we were told the pool was closed indefinitely. A big disappointment since our purpose for the booking was a "staycation" to protect our cats (and ourselves) from the illegal fireworks that turn our neighborhood into a war zone. The consolation would be that we could at least have a swim. The staff checking us in did not inform us that the sister hotel next door had a pool we could use. Nor did they tell us our room charge did not reflect the pet fee of $50 + tax, $58.00 total we had to pay at check out. $250 for a 12 hour stay, a terrible breakfast and a too-soft bed. Very disappointing.
